The adidas Handball Spezial Preloved Red Gum is a retro-inspired sneaker with a rich colorway of Preloved Red and clean accents in Cream White and Crystal White.
Originally released in the 1970s as an indoor handball shoe, this version of the Handball Spezial features various throwback details. For example, the sneaker retains its T-shaped toebox overlay, serrated 3-Stripes on the side panels, and gum rubber outsole. However, the upper is crafted from synthetic suede instead of genuine suede, which contributes to the sneaker’s lightweight design. In addition, the textile inner lining allows the foot to breathe and doesn’t weigh down the shoe. While the base comes in Preloved Red, Cream White accents can be found on the heel tab, the 3-Stripes logo, and the collar lining.
